Making choices builds decision-making skills and self-confidence. Tips for Parents
Wait for your child to invite you into their play rather than directing it. When they make a choice, acknowledge it warmly.
If they struggle to decide, you can describe each option simply, but resist choosing for them. The decision-making practice matters more than the choice itself.
